Waste-Outlet does not hold funds, as payment and delivery are handled directly between buyer and seller when trading on our scrap portal. Waste-Outlet profit only from the success fee, which is a small percentage of the final price that the seller needs to pay in order to get access to a list of bidders. The success fee differs from subscription, being 0,50% for the free subscription and 0,25% for the gold subscription.

Both seller and buyer have the option to take advantage of Transpact optional escrow payment service, for their scrap sale, which has low transfer fees. Escrow is especially useful if you trade with new partners or the scrap has a high scrap value. Note that for the moment Escrow can not be used for the request listings and it is only available for the gold members. This protects payments and delivery between buyer and seller and keeps the scrap portal safe for everyone.
